what would be so hard for Algoma public health to at least tell us where that one case in our area with the variant has been for the past 14 days, and is anyone ensuring that that person and any contacts stay apart from everyone else until they are negative?

Can we not at least know if these latest positive cases and the deaths/.hospitalized cases were to do with the cluster at 100 warsaw? The retirement buildings in Elliot Lake were being given tests last week just in case but will we be told if any of the new cases are from these latest buildings?

So with all these new cases in Elliot Lake and one unfortunate death are we ever going to be informed if we are at risk by going into local grocery and pharmacies? I can't imagine that none of the seven or eight cases in local Elliot Lake were ever in No Frills, Foodland, Shoppers, Rexall, Meat store, Tim;s, Mcdonalds, on the trails in Sheriff creek, on the local buses or taxis? Some information would be nice before we get further infected.

I also would like more information so i can be aware of possible connections. We need to have information as to where the person was, when, their age range, area of the city of Elliot Lake they live (don't need the exact address, but would be helpful to know if in one of the retirement apartments). When did they get the virus? Where were they when they got it? Was it contracted in Elliot Lake or outside the area? Where do they spend their time?

I am new to Elliot Lake and one of my favourite spots - as well as for many residents and passerby's is the Minors Memorial at Horne Lake. The existing statues are amazing and certainly tell a story of the history of this city, a new statue would continue that legacy and further enhance the parkette. Definitely a thumbs up for me - in fact 2 or 3 thumbs up.

its a disgusting mess on the atv road off Washington cres. All the litter - plastic bottles, peoples "lunch" litter in the ditches/streams that run along side the road. If you have to take a snack with you when you snowmobile or atv be responsible and take the garbage back home with you. Last year on one outing I picked up at least 30 pop/water bottles!
