On April 15, 2018, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol duties on Highway 108 and Hillside Drive North in the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed which was confirmed on radar. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and the male driver was charged accordingly.
Craig Patry, 28 years of age, from Valley East, Ontario was charged with:
- Speeding 1 - 49 Km/h over posted limit, contrary to section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
