UPDATE: Man abducted in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory located

Police have arrested two people, and OPP say they have now identified the third suspect

Ontario Provincial Police say the victim of a reported abduction in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory has been located.

They say the 27-year-old is safe.

In addition, OPP say they have now identified the third suspect they were searching for.

Police are concerned for the safety of a man who was abducted Thursday morning in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory.

Ontario Provincial Police and Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service say 27-year-old William Paibomsai-Lesage was on Willow Street when he was assaulted by two men and forced into a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup with the Ontario licence plate BZ 32028.

William is described as Indigenous, six feet tall (183 cm) and 195 lbs (88 kg) with short black hair, brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing an orange Under Armour T-shirt, red athletic pants, white running shoes, and a grey baseball cap.

Police have arrested two people, but are still looking for a third suspect.

Christian (Reese) Cormier, 38, of no fixed address has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • Kidnapping
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine
  • Failing to comply with probation order - three counts

Luke Flammand, 36, of Wikwemikong Unceded Reserve First Nation has been charged with kidnapping. 

The third suspect is described as male, Indigenous, approximately six feet tall (183 cm) and 180 lbs (82 kg) and clean shaven. He was wearing a black pullover top with a red shirt underneath, dark pants, and a dark baseball cap.
