On Feb. 6, 2018 at approximately 3 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit were on patrol in the area of Hirshhorn Road in the City of Elliot Lake.
A vehicle stop was conducted and it was learned that a female passenger was wanted by police. As a result, police arrested the female.
Rosanna Shiels, 30 years of age, of Elliot Lake, Ont. was charged with:
- Failure to attend court, contrary to section 145(2) of the Criminal Code (CC)
The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River, Ont. on Feb. 7, 2018.
