Snowfall warning in effect for:

Blind River - Thessalon
Espanola - Killarney

Total snowfall of about 15 cm expected by late today.

Snow associated with an approaching Colorado Low is falling over Northeastern Ontario and will persist through the day today. Snow may be mixed with ice pellets at times early this morning. There is also a slight risk of freezing rain this morning.

Snowfall amounts near 15 cm are likely by late this afternoon. Snow is expected to become lighter by this evening, but will continue through Monday. Some additional accumulations of up to 5 cm are possible by Monday afternoon.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
