Elliot Lake Women’s Group has announced a fundraising raffle in support of Larry’s Place Men’s Shelter.
There are four prize packages to be won:
- Ice Fishing Package - $2500 Value
- Self-Care Package - $1000 Value
- Elliot Lake Staycation Package - $525 Value
- Kids Winter Fun Package - $350 Value
Tickets are $10 each, and the draw will take place on Feb. 6, 2023.
Tickets are available at any time from Maplegate House for Women located at 185 Mississauga Ave., or by calling 705-862-2514.
Tickets will also be available every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new Community Market located inside the Renaissance Centre at 2 Veterans Way.
Volunteers will be located at both Elliot Lake Canadian Tire and Shoppers Drug Mart on Saturday’s between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for anyone looking to purchase tickets.
Only 1,500 tickets are available.
In 2022, Larry’s Place helped over 130 men in our community. The shelter has no permanent core funders and relies on fundraising efforts to help these men in need.
Elliot Lake Women’s Group would like to thank the local businesses and individuals who donated prizes for this fundraiser. Your generosity helps us continue to provide support to men who are experiencing homelessness.
