On Nov. 2, 2017, at approximately 4:55 p.m. members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a property related call on Westhill Road in Elliot Lake.
While police were at the residence, it was learned that a male was in violation of certain conditions from previous release documents. The male was subsequently arrested.
Jessy St. Jean, 25 years of age, of Elliot Lake, Ont., was charged with:
- Fail to comply with recognizance, contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Fail to comply with probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake, Ont. on Dec. 5, 2017.
