SUDBURY - On Nov. 8, 2017 at 12 p.m. officers from the Sudbury Detachment of The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), The Sudbury Fire Department and the Sudbury-Manitoulin District Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, at Middle Lake Road, Sudbury.
As a result of the collision, two persons were confirmed deceased at the scene. One other person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP have twoTechnical Collision Investigators (TCI) on scene and Highway 17 remains closed between Long Lake road and Southview Drive until the investigation is complete.
The names of the deceased subjects are not being released at this time pending the notification of next of kin.
