ATV operator charged with failing to comply

Elliot Lake All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) operator arrested again after breaching prior release conditions.

On Sept. 2, 2024, East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol when a known person was observed operating an ATV on Pearson Drive. The operator was in contravention of prior release conditions to not operate a motor vehicle. Police intercepted the operator on Lauzon Crescent and a subsequent arrest was made.

Bradley Willett, 24 years old, of Elliot Lake was charged with two counts of failure to comply with release order.

The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on September 3, 2024, and was remanded into custody.
