Police in London, Ont., are looking for suspects after an allegedly stolen pickup truck crashed into multiple cars — including two police cruisers — before its occupants carjacked another vehicle and fled Wednesday evening.
Police say one of their officers was in the city's east end around 7:45 p.m. when a pickup truck allegedly drove in the direction of the officer's cruiser.
They say the officer was able to steer out of the way and the truck was then seen travelling at high speeds, prompting multiple 911 calls.
Police allege the suspect vehicle "intentionally" drove into two police cruisers after it was spotted by officers nearby, causing significant damage.
They allege the pickup truck then fled the area, striking three other cars before its occupants left on foot and carjacked a nearby vehicle from a female driver.
Police say the chain of events left one civilian with minor injuries and the stolen pickup truck was recovered.
They are asking anyone with camera footage or information on the suspects to contact investigators.
