Steven William Ross Fox Steve passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2024 at the age of 53.
Steve leaves behind his 3 children who he loved more than anything, Emily (Adam), Aleah (Nick) and Nixxon. Steve is also survived by his mother Marilyn Fox, his brother Jim & his spouse Karen and his brother Brian & his partner Angelle, as well as his former spouses Yve and Jill. Steve also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Caden, Ella, Jude, Thomas, Carter and Casandra. He will be missed by many other family members and friends as well. Steve was predeceased by his father Robert Fox. Steve had a personality like no other.
He was the type of guy who could walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends. He lived for the good times and made many friends from all walks of life along the way. Steve loved his motorcycles and he loved music. Nothing made him happier than putting the miles on his Harley. He began playing drums 40 years ago and learned a little guitar. He was always happy playing for his kids and his nieces and nephews. Steve spent over 30 years working as an auto body repair technician. He started that career at Young’s Auto Body in Algoma Mills and his work took him from Blind River to Ottawa and finally to Sudbury.
He returned home to Algoma Mills recently and resided there until his passing. Cremation has taken place. Steve did not wish to have a funeral so a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
