Suddenly at NSHN-Blind River with his family by his side, age 68. Husband of Janet for 48 years. Father of Katina Cowen (Bill), Chad (Amy) and Justin and grandfather of Elliott, Francis and Wilder with one on the way. Son of Ken and the late Shirley Schell. Brother of Linda Schell, Lorna Carrick and Michael. Jim was a friend to many people.
Jim was a longtime employee of JI Enterprises in Blind River.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Beggs Funeral Home and the Monday night staff at NSHN-Blind River.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
