It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lauralynn Ingram, our perfect and innocent Lynn, 51 years on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at St. Joseph’s General Hospital, Elliot Lake after a courageous battle with various health challenges that she overcame her entire life. Beloved daughter of Les and Barb (nee Richardson) Ingram. Cherished sister of Mary Paré (Paul). Loving aunt of Lauren and Clara Paré. Dear partner of Doug Weldon for the past 10 years. Dear granddaughter of Mary and Reg Richardson, Henry Ingram and Edna and Irvin Jackson all predeceased. Dear niece of Brenda Slater (Ken), Judy Richardson (David Haliburton), Jack Richardson (Noreen), Ron Ingram predeceased, Murray Ingram predeceased (Wilma), Marilyn Deeley (George), Rita Smith (Earl predeceased), Barbara Froude predeceased (John) and Don Ingram (Laurel). Sadly missed by many cousins.

We hope you are singing with Charlie Pride, that your duck boots still fit, that you are running and laughing and doing lots of fishing and knitting. Lynn was a sweet, kind and positive person and she was always smiling. She was an active committee member and advocate for Community Living Algoma District for many years.

We would like to thank the Doctor Purzner and Mellanie from the Elliot Lake Medical Health Centre; The nurses and doctors who cared for Lynn at the Elliot Lake Hospital on the 3rd floor especially Aubrey; the doctors and nurses in the emergency department; for the kindness of George and Kaleigh in the ICU department toward us during and after Lynn's passing.  For the great respect they showed our girl at the end, it will never be forgotten. PSW from Home Instead; especially Catherine for their kindness toward Lynn.  We would also like to thank Mellisa from Community Living Elliot Lake for all her support and friendship and hard work for and with Lynn.

Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 1pm. Friends may gather after 12:30pm Tuesday in the chapel. Cremation with interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Sudbury.
