Our beloved Archie passed away peacefully at St.Joseph Manor, on October 16, 2024, in his 89th year. The Family would like to Thank All the St Joseph Manor Staff for the great care and compassion they provided. They are an amazing group of Care Givers.
Born to Walter and Irene Adams (predeceased) in Nairin Centre. Archie was a “free spirit”, who spent the majority of his working life as a long haul trucker. His travels took him across the country, from coast to coast. He loved trucking, sampling coffee shop pies and coffee, telling tall tales and sharing his trucking adventures with family and friends.
A member of small immediate family and a large extended family. Predeceased by his brother Rolly, sister Iris,step daughter Michelle, brother in law Barry and his first wife Margaret (Peggy) Quesnel. He is survived by his wife Gloria (Foster) Sisters Hilda and Emily, Sisters in law, Nancy Doak and Mary Lou Mitchell. Archie also leaves behind, children, Sandra Kutchaw(Len), Sharyn Styler(Greg), Brian Quesnel, daughter in law Collene, Ward Foster, Wanda Mallot(Glen) and Wendy Presley (Hal) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his special niece Brenda Adams.
As per Archie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.

He will be remembered for his big smile, his friendly nature and the many tall tales he told. He was a diehard Toronto Maple fan, who never wavered regardless of their performance. He was a great gardener and was known for his beautiful roses. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
