The congregation of St. Peter the Apostle Anglican Church proudly stands behind the collection of 50 pots and pans purchased with store coupons from No Frills. The pots and pans will be distributed to residents of the men’s and women’s shelters in Elliot Lake.

The congregation of St. Peter the Apostle Anglican Church in Elliot Lake collected new shiny pots and pans from No Frills, using the grocery store’s special offer coupons.

The collection of 50 pots and pans will be donated to the residents of Maple Gate and Larry’s Place as part of the church’s outreach program.

“So our plan is to give them to the men’s and women’s shelters to give to people as they transition from the shelter to their new life in Elliot Lake,” said Allaurien Cousins, church treasurer.

Each gift of pots and pans will carry a gift card that reads, “A gift to help you on life’s journey from St. Peter the Apostle Anglican Church, Elliot Lake. God bless!”

Any pots and pans left over will be distributed to the homeless in the town.
