School raises $1,000 for arena fundraiser

École catholique Georges Vanier (Elliot Lake) students and staff mobilized on June 8 to host a tag day at multiple locations in the community.

As part of this fund-raising initiative, students distributed a sucker on which the school logo was placed. Thanks to the public's great generosity and the donations from school staff, École catholique Georges Vanier took pride in presenting a $1,000 donation to the Jamie & Jo-Ann Armstrong Centennial Arena Fundraiser.
