RCMP puts on a musical ride in Whitefish (34 photos)

Northern Legacy Horse farm played host to some musical guests

A sunny Sunday seemed perfect for a horse show by the RCMP.

Northern Legacy Horse Farm in Whitefish played host to the RCMP Musical Ride – a show aimed at providing the public with an opportunity to experience the heritage and traditions of the RCMP and raise funds for local charities across Canada.

The show featured 32 horses and RCMP riders from all provinces across Canada. The show opened with a swift salute from the RCMP leader to Mrs. Lily and Craig Fielding.

With the formalities completed, the riders geared up for some fun.

The riders performed various figures and drills choreographed to music and in unison to each other.

The commentators also informed the audience of the rich history of the acts performed.

Once the RCMP act was over, guests were given the opportunity to pet the horses and interact with them.
