The food court and public washrooms at the Pearson Plaza are again open.
The facility and washrooms were barricaded and closed to the public last Wednesday morning. They were re-opened yesterday by mall owner McCowan and Associates. It was originally closed over concerns of vandalism and discarded needles being found in the washrooms.
The closure prompted public complaints about the washrooms and seating area being inaccessible to people using the mall.
The city was also looking into the closure after receiving complaints.
The reason for the re-opening has not been disclosed as of press time.
