With suitable COVID-19 social distancing protocols in place, and face masks being worn, municipal voters in the Township of the North Shore are being invited to an all candidates talking circle next Thursday night in Spragge.
The event will be held at the the covered rink in Spragge on Aug. 20 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. where the voters will have a chance to hear from candidates.
The byelection will be held online from Sept. 4 to 14.
Seeking the position of mayor are Joyce Robitaille of Serpent River and Tony Moor of Algoma Mills. Up for councillor in Spragge are Len Menard and Glenn Shelley.
