On Wednesday, members of the Elliot Lake Lions Club gathered to honour the memory of long-term members, and to celebrate Lionism with the club’s International motto 'We Serve'.
“Our new bulletin board now stands proudly in Lions Park, next to Collins Hall,” said member Susan Kerr. “This board was built thanks to the skillful leadership of Marc Lamoreaux, and to the generous donation of materials from Rona Home Builders.
"This board will contain memorial plaques for deceased members, as well as information about the Elliot Lake Lions Club, and our international affiliation.”
The club always welcomes new members with contact information on the bulletin board.
