Do you have leftover yarn bits and balls just hanging around? 🧶✨ Put them to a wonderful new purpose and help 'KnitWits' spread some warmth and cheer!
The Huron Shores' Public Library’s Knitting Club, the ‘KnitWits,’ needs your help to complete their mission to transform your yarn scraps into cozy lap blankets for patients and residents in local hospices, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
Here’s How You Can Join the Yarn Revolution:
- Drop Off Your Yarn: Swing by the Huron Shores' Public Library on Tuesdays or Fridays between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- What to Donate: No donation is too small! Every skein, ball, or leftover bit of yarn will be woven into something special.
Your contributions will not only help create beautiful blankets but will also warm the hearts of those who need it most. ❤️
Want to Request a Lap Blanket? If you’d like to request a lap blanket for a loved one, simply leave your contact information with the librarian during your visit.
