MUNICIPALITY OF HURON SHORES

The Municipality of Huron Shores announces that [Ward 1] Councillor [Roger] Mulligan has tendered his resignation, effective Jan. 13, 2025. The Clerk’s Office received formal notice of this decision on the same date.
In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, council will officially declare the council seat vacant during its meeting on Jan. 15, 2025. Following this declaration, the process to fill the vacancy will proceed as outlined by provincial regulations.
We extend our gratitude to Councillor Mulligan for his contributions to the municipality during his tenure and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
