Rainfall warning in effect for:
• Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake
• Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
• Blind River - Thessalon
• Espanola - Killarney
• Manitoulin Island
• Greater Sudbury and vicinity
Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
An area of rain is expected to arrive in the area from Sault Ste. Marie to Manitoulin early Wednesday morning, and spread northeastward to reach the Sudbury area by mid-morning, and to reach from Gogoma to New Liskeard Wednesday afternoon.
Rain will continue Wednesday night. Rain is expected to end near Lake Superior Thursday morning and near the Quebec border Thursday evening.
Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 50 mm are forecast.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
