It's official. One of the plows in Elliot Lake is named Kevin. Or, to be more precise, 'KEVIN!!!'.
The winners of the City of Elliot Lake Name Our Plows contest chosen by the public. The plows have been painted with their names and the city has announced the winners.
Congratulations to:
- Chris Bellingham for his submission of "KEVIN!!"
- Tasha Becker for her very popular submission of "N'gwaagne" (Ojibway for Buried in snow)
- Clarissa Graham for her submission of CTRL-SALT-DELETE
- The ELSS Math Dept. for their submission of "Plow-thagorean Theorem"
"Thank you to everyone who entered a name and voted for their favourites," says a release from the city. "Be sure to keep an eye out for each truck this winter!"
