Three of Eiliot Lake's brightest young figure skating stars returned from a recent event in Sudbury sporting medals they earned for scoring their own personal bests.

It happened at Super Series #14 in Sudbury Feb. 22 and 23.

Davina Weber competed in the Creative Improv 1 event finishing with Bronze, the Showcase 1 receiving Silver, Star 3 FreeSkate getting Bronze and Star 3 Elements (first time competing in this level for this category) again finishing with Silver.

Khloe Duchesne made huge improvements from her first event back in January entering the Star 1 FreeSkate and being awarded Silver.

First time competitor Keyarah Kilgour also entered the Star 1 FreeSkate event being awarded Bronze and Creative Improv 1 and receiving Bronze in that event as well.

The Sudbury event capped the 2019-2020 competitive skating season for the Elliot Lake Skating Club. With planning for next season beginning in the few weeks, skaters are currently working on completing their evaluations. Their season officially ends on March 13.
