Monsieur Olivier's grade 3 and 4 students at École catholique Georges Vanier (Elliot Lake) have been learning more about Canada's provinces and territories. In the classroom, students explored the characteristics of each province and territory and discovered their main industries, flags, capitals and much more.

To help them acquire the material, the students undertook a research project in which they had to design a sports jersey for the players on a fictional basketball team based on the province or territory they had chosen. On their jerseys, they had to illustrate the results of their research, for example the official animal of the province, the colours of the flag, the principal industries, and so on.

The students did a great job and are very proud of their creations!
