École catholique Georges Vanier in Elliot Lake now has a 3D printer for its students. Using the printer, students can turn their ideas in actual objects thanks to the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) approach to teaching at the school.

This new tool will help students develop the competencies needed for them to succeed in the 21st century. Georges Vanier attaches great importance to providing students with access to the latest technologies to support their learning.

The school is currently working on upgrading its library to transform it into a new learning environment that promotes reading, reflection and collaboration both in a physical and virtual learning environment.
