Easter Bunny pays a visit to Elliot Lake

COVID-19 protocols were in place to make the event as safe as possible for everyone

The Easter Bunny was in Elliot Lake on Saturday.

Dozens of people hopped into the car the day before Easter Sunday to visit him at the Claire Dimock Children’s Centre in a COVID-19 style event to make it safe.

Children had a chance to have a 'hoppy' Easter experience during a free drive thru from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event was sponsored by Darin and Joanna Moggy of Moggy’s Heating and Cooling and the Claire Dimock Children Centre.

Joanna Moggy said the event followed all COVID-19 protocols to ensure everyone had safe and happy Easter.

Assistance was also supplied by Elliot Lake Manager of  Recreation and Culture Recreation Darla Hennessey and Councillor Sandy Finamore.
