The City of Elliot Lake posted an agenda for a special meeting of council tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
The agenda has only one item, “6.1 Recruitment of Chief Administrative Officer”
The agenda notes, “As this matter deals with personal information about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees it may be discussed in closed session as per Section 239(2)(b) of the Municipal Act.”
Elliot Lake has been without a CAO since late April. Municipal Clerk Natalie Bray, and Director of Finance and Treasurer Amy Sonnenburg have covered the position since then.
Tomorrow is the last business day of 2023. Will Elliot Lake begin 2024 with a new CAO?
