Blind River students represent at school board conference

Benjamin Dennie and Mariska Lamothe from École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord took part in the annual congress of Franco-Ontarian school boards as student trustees

Two students from École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord in Blind River joined students from across the province for the congress of the Association of Franco-Ontarian Catholic School Boards.

Mariska Lamothe and Benjamin Dennie travelled to the Toronto to represent francophone students at the conference.

They were joined by Mia Toner from École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur in Sudbury.

Last week, Benjamin Dennie and Mariska Lamothe, two students from École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord (Blind River), as well as Mia Toner, a student from École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur (Sudbury), were offered the great opportunity to take part the annual congress of the Association franco-ontarienne des conseil scolaire catholiques (Association of Franco-Ontarian Catholic School Boards) in Toronto as student trustees for the CSC Nouvelon. What a great experience for these young leaders!

La semaine dernière, Benjamin Dennie et Mariska Lamothe, deux élèves de l’école secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord (Blind River), ainsi que Mia Toner, une élève de l’école secondaire du Sacré-Cœur (Sudbury), ont eu l’occasion de participer au Congrès annuel de l’Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques (AFOCSC) à Toronto à titre d’élèves conseillers pour le CSC Nouvelon. Quelle belle expérience pour ces jeunes leaders!
