Bailey gets an early start in public service at school in Blind River

Bailey Mitchell is the prime minister of the student parliament at École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord (Blind River).

As part of her duties, she is also a member of the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon Student Senate. This group of high school students has the mandate to meet to represent the interests of the students of their respective schools.

“I am proud to be a member of the Student Senate because I want to help improve the high school experience for students. I aim to make their experience more positive, more inclusive and more memorable since it allows students to be more engaged in their studies," said Mitchell.
