Since the start of the school year in September, Ali Laginski has held the position of Prime Minister of École secondaire catholique La Renaissance (Espanola).
In addition, this Grade 12 student takes pride in representing the interests of her peers as a member of the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon's Student Senate. This political committee, which serves as a forum for the Prime Ministers of CSC Nouvelon’s nine secondary schools, provides a space for exchanges and engaging students in their success as part of efforts to promote French-language Catholic education.
"I am proud to be part of the Student Senate because it is an excellent opportunity to showcase my strengths and leadership abilities. I have the privilege of interacting with students not only from École secondaire catholique La Renaissance but also from other schools," she said.
"It allows me to listen and learn new ideas, especially about how we can improve the future as students. We are encouraged to be leaders not only for the students around us but also for ourselves. Being a member of the Student Senate will always be a source of pride for me."
