City Provides Update on Public Spaces
For all public spaces, physical distancing remains in effect. Please respect signage, ensure social distancing and be courteous with others while using public spaces and facilities. If crowds become too large the city may need to implement other measures to manage the risk and respect existing orders.
Kiwanis Skate Park: has re-opened.
Westview Trailer Park: will re-open Saturday, June 27, at limited capacity to reinforce physical distancing. Please refrain from using the site as a day-use picnic area now that it has returned to a campground. There are other parks available for day use/picnics.
Welcome Centre Trailer: is on-site at Simpson Road and open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Municipal Pool: Open weekdays for reserved lane swims only. Lane must be reserved by calling 705-848-2287 ext. 2500 and are available for 1-hour bookings at specific times.
Beaches: Spruce and Spine Beaches supervision returns Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
Playground Structures and Team Sports/Games: remain closed / not permitted by order of the Province.
