NEWS RELEASE
COUNSEIL SCOLAIRE CATHOLIQUE NOUVELON
*****************************
In these strange and uncertain times, students and staff at École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord (Blind River) are continuing to get a taste of school spirit even if it is from a distance.
In order to reconnect since the school closed in March, the school student parliament recently organized a 'Theme Week in Containment'. Students and staff were encouraged to participate in the various theme days and share photos.
In the spirit of our new reality, the themes were varied and included quarantine hair day, pajama day, hobby day, outdoor day as well as connected day. The students really appreciated the connected day which encouraged them to take the time to chat with a friend or family member they miss.
The theme week was very well attended and many students and staff appreciated the opportunity to see familiar faces and smiles.
