Superior Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a Licensed 310S Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This position requires a high performing individual to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faulty operations, and repair automotive vehicles and light trucks. The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and will possess the willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge, the ability to estimate time of service and repair needed, and to diagnose and complete the required work right the first time.
Qualifications:
• Valid G driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Strong knowledge in various makes and models.
• 2-3 year's experience with automotive mechanical operations.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance including complex electrical diagnostic procedures.
• Have working knowledge of shop equipment, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Must have own hand and power tools.
• FCA experience (will be preferred during application review process).
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
